Norfolk Bowling Club
The Norfolk Bowling Club, is located in the Cathedral City of Norwich in the East Anglian county of Norfolk. We have two outdoor greens (one not currently in use) and seven indoor rinks. We are affiliated to Bowls England, English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd and both the Men's and Ladies Indoor and Outdoor County Associations and offer competitive bowls, to those who want it, at National, County and club level in both team and individual formats.
We welcome new members from 8 to 80 and beyond, whether an experienced player or new to our wonderful game, please use our website to gain more information on the history of our club, which celebrated its centenary in 2022, and what we can offer. 16th January - Social Night - Please note the Bingo and Race Night on Saturday 8th February is now SOLD OUT!!!
7th January - Social Night - Bingo & Race Night with sausage and mash supper is Saturday 8th February. Tickets are £11 per person available from the bar!!!
27th December - NBC Club Competitions - for the remainder of the indoor season the primary contacts for any of the Men’s or Open Club Competitions are Phil Richards and Peter Chapman. The Ladies competitions will continue to be co-ordinated by the ladies indoor committee.
27th December - NBC Ladies - our ladies A team rounded off their hectic pre Xmas schedule with 2 excellent wins.
On 19th Dec we went to County Arts and after some excellent bowling and a tense finish we came away 6-2 victors (72-69). On the 21st we went to Acle A and in a fantastic performance came away 7-1 winners (68-46).
It was an hectic run up to Xmas and my thanks to all the ladies who have played and best wishes for a well deserved break. Report - Jackie Devitt
16th December - NBC Ladies - on Saturday the ladies A team went to Gallow IBC in the return fixture from a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately despite some excellent action we lost 2-6 (55-59). This means it is all square in our two encounters. My thanks to all the ladies for their efforts. We now go to County Arts on 19th and Acle on the 21st, a very busy and hard end to the year.
On Sunday the National Mixed Egham Trophy team played Lakenheath for the first time and had a good win 90-58 and we will now play Essex County on the 12th Jan in the regional final., well done to all.
12th December - NBC Ladies B team finished the first half of the county league season with a win over County Arts A earlier today, in a very close game ending NBC 55 - County Arts 52.

17th November - National & County Competition Bookings via Bowlr - please click here for important information in relation to the booking of rinks for national and county competitions via Bowlr.
Re-spots - please remember that re-spots now apply, for a killed end, in ALL domestic internal league games and club competitions.
Rink Bookings - members are reminded that rinks must be booked for all games, even for a roll-up on an empty rink. Please ensure that rinks are booked via the Bowlr system in advance of your game or on arrival at the club via the monitor by the office.
Website / Facebook Updates - whilst the editors of the website and our Facebook page endeavour to keep up with results and news, please let Helen Jamieson know of any news you feel should be shared. This is especially important as we reach the final stages of club and individual national/county competitions.
