SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
A Notice has been placed on the Notice Boards of both Clubhouses advising all Club members that a Special General Meeting is to be
held in the Indoor Clubhouse onTuesday 23 August at 7.00pm, as follows:-

The Management Committee of the Norfolk Bowling Club is concerned that the rink fee increase passed at the Annual General Meeting in January 2022 does not now address the financial position facing the Club.
The increase in the energy costs particularly have risen sharply since the meeting held in January, and more rises are scheduled later in the year.
To help alleviate the resulting financial difficulties, the Management Committee proposes that rink fees should increase from the present £3.00 for the usual 2 hour session, and now be increased to £4.00 with effect from 1st September 2022.
The increase passed in January was for rink fees to be £3.50 with effect from September 2022.
Any amendments to the proposition should be submitted in writing to me, Club Secretary, Carole Slaughter at least two weeks before the Special General Meeting.
