The Norfolk Bowling Club, is located in the Cathedral City of Norwich in the East Anglian county of Norfolk. We have two outdoor greens (one being reconditioned) and seven indoor rinks. We are affiliated to Bowls England, English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd and both the Men's and Ladies Indoor and Outdoor County Associations and offer competitive bowls, to those who want it, at National, County and club level in both team and individual formats.
We welcome new members from 8 to 80 and beyond, whether an experienced player or new to our wonderful game, please use our website to gain more information on the history of our club, which celebrated its centenary in 2022, and what we can offer. 4th December - Live Streaming - the club, in support of the initiative by Paul Nicholls, hope to live stream the National Singles match on Wednesday 6th December 6:30pm between Aaron Johnson and Josh Finch (Gallow).
In addition it is hoped to live stream the Area Champion of Champions Singles final between Wayne Willgress and Mark Royal (Risbygate) on Monday 11th December 6:45pm direct from Diss & District IBC
2nd December - Ladies B Team - congratulations to the Ladies B team who secured a win in the County League away at Acle. A very busy but successful week, well done everyone from all teams - report by Carole Slaughter
1st December - Club Competitions - all entrants are reminded that a number of the first rounds are to be played by 31st December and whilst some games have have now been completed or arranged there are a few still to be booked.
As a reminder for the men's championships, entrants must ensure they check when games have been set to be played as a number of these will start from week commencing 4th December, and if you are unable to play, due to nationals, please contact Chris Taylor asap for alternative arrangements to be made.
1st December - Norfolk Bowling Club AGM (16/1) - further to the notice posted 3rd November a reminder that the AGM of the Norfolk Bowling Club will be held on Tuesday 16th January 2024 at 7pm, and the closing date for various items is Monday 4th December, please click here for further information and details
1st December - Vivienne Trophy - congratulations to the Ladies B team who with a win yesterday in a close match against Acle, 72-61, progress through to the last sixteen of the national Vivienne competition. Well done everyone from both teams - report by Carole Slaughter

HELP WANTED for Open Singles Circuit - the club are looking for markers to cover the first round matches on Saturday 3rd February 6pm and Sunday 4th February 9am, if you are interested please contact the club, via email, for more details
27th November - National Competitions - we continue to progress in number of the National club competitions with further rounds to be played before the Christmas
- Thursday 30th November, 10:00am, Vivienne Trophy v Acle (WON 72-61)
- Friday 8th December, 10:00am, Mason Trophy Ladies A v Ladies B
- Saturday 9th December, 10:00am
- Yetton Trophy v Colchester
- Denny Cup v Turpins
- Sunday 10th December, 10:00am, Egham Trophy v Essex County
The club will then be hosting the Norfolk County teams
- Saturday 16th December, 10:00am, Atherley Trophy Norfolk v Cambridgeshire
- Sunday 17th December 10:00am, U25 Double Rink Norfolk v Suffolk

25th November - Under 30 Double Rink - congratulations to our mixed U30 double rink team who overcame St Neots & District earlier today and will now face Ipswich & District in the national quarter final on Saturday 3rd February
Rink Bookings - members are asked to ensure that where a rink is no longer required, especially for National bookings, that the booking is removed from the diary. This will ensure that we can make the best use of spare rinks for rearranged leagues or to allow members to book roll-ups.
Members are also reminded that rinks must be booked for all games, even for a roll-up on an empty rink. Please ensure that rinks are booked via the Bowlr system in advance of your game or on arrival at the club via the monitor by the office.
